The noise stops, replaced by heavy breathing, a quick snort. You feel it on the back of your neck. Hairs bristling, you turn around, slowly, no idea what has approached you in this visual void.
For the first time in a while you see something other than white. Through the thick fog you see a stark white equine silhouette radiating what can only be described as a pastel rainbow and atop its head a single horn emitting blinding, pure light.
Squinting your eyes, you can juuuust see that this creature, which you can only describe as a unicorn, is wearing socks? Look, it's a unicorn, the socks aren't the weirdest part of this experience.
