Recycling

How to dispose of your packaging in a way that is best for our environment.

From the start we have been careful to design our packaging with minimal plastics, but with the EU bringing in a bunch of new rules, we are compiling this list to help people understand exactly what our packaging is made of and how to dispose of it in the best way.

- Socks

Original sock header cards:
The card is paper with a thin laminate.  This can be disposed of in your paper recycling.
The plastic barb is too small to be recycled, please dispose of it in your household waste.

2026 onwards sock sleeves:
These are superceeding the original sock cards, starting with the EU followed with the rest of the world when the original cards run out.
The card is unlaminated card with two double sided adhesive strips.  This can be disposed of in your paper recycling.

- Underwear

Underwear header cards:
The card is unlaminated paper.  This can be disposed of in your paper recycling.  The steel staple is too small to be recycled and should be disposed of in your household waste.

Underwear bags:
The bags are made of corn starch and are designed to be compostable at home.  If you cannot compost them, dispose of them in your household waste.  The slide is plastic and is too small to be recycled, please dispose of it in your household waste.
